A coat worn for 10 years produces a fraction of the environmental cost of three coats worn for three years each. Longevity is a sustainability argument. We make ours explicit: APA coats are guaranteed for two years. Most of our customers keep them for a decade.
Beyond that: OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, chemical-free waterproofing, zero DWR coatings, upcycled surplus through APA x Dzaino. We account for every metre of fabric produced.
Dzaino is a Berlin-based label for bags and accessories, founded by Julia Hermesmeyer & Hanna Sin Gebauer.
Dzaino focuses on the reduction of waste by upcycling material into handmade, resource-friendly, one of a kind pieces with a contemporary feel, produced with transparent and eco-friendly production process.
