Shipping
Where does APA ship?
We ship worldwide!
Through our website, APA currently ships to all 28 E.U. countries, as well as Switzerland, Norway, the U.S., Canada, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Through our store, we also create custom shipments to almost all other countries in the world. If you would like to know if we can deliver to your country, contact us at info@apa-intemporal.com,
When will my order ship?
Here’s how it works: you order, we process, then we ship.
Ordering takes a few seconds. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 1pm ET are processed the next business day). Then one of our carriers takes it from there. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. It’s on the way!

We cover the first return or exchange per order (one prepaid label per order).

Any additional returns/exchanges for the same order are customer-paid.
International orders (outside the EU)

Returns & re-shipping: All costs are the customer’s responsibility (including carrier fees, duties, taxes, and handling charges).

How long does it take to ship?
We use express shipping. For our friends in Europe, shipping takes 1 to 4 business days. We’ll send a tracking number so you can watch your package’s journey.
International shipping times vary depending upon the destination country:

Will I be charged VAT & duties for international shipping?
Orders within the E.U. will have no duties, and VAT is included in the price of each item.
For all orders outside the E.U., including UK, Switzerland and Norway, all applicable duties and taxes are not included in the price. The customs office in each country may charge you local duties and VAT. These charges are at the customer’s own expense.

How can I track my order?
Your tracking number will be issued to you via email once your order ships. If you’re having issues with your tracking number, in a few cases, the carrier can take extra time to register your shipment status.
If after several days your tracking number still isn’t working, please reach out to us at info@apa-intemporal.com, and we’ll get to the bottom of it!
Can I use my company info?
Yes. Please add your company info at checkout under “company details.” If you also require a company invoice, just reach out to us at info@apa-intemporal.com, and we’ll get you one.

Do you have a retail store?
We started as an online company. We occasionally open Pop-Up Stores in Europe. Click here for addresses and opening times.
How can I find out more information about a product?

What is my size?
Our coats offer a slim fit for men and a standard fit for women, with a French sizing.
For men: For sizing M and over, we recommend that you scale up one size. It’s no problem to request an exchange if the fit isn’t perfect (see our exchange policy).

What is your warranty policy?
We build our raincoats to last!
All APA raincoats are covered with a Limited Warranty/Lifetime Guarantee. Our raincoats are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, even after extended use, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it.
Our Lifetime Guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, improper care, or just the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under our Lifetime Guarantee will be repaired at our atelier under your limited warranty for a nominal fee.

The product I’m looking for is out of stock. How will I know when it will be re-stocked?
The best way to stay updated on when a product will be re-stocked is to sign up for our newsletter, which will detail all the latest product developments. Just scroll to the bottom of this (or any!) page, and enter your email address.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
How do I request a return or exchange?
We want the try-on process to be seamless, so returns and exchanges are easy! Please reach out to info@apa-intemporal.com with your order number and the products you’d like to exchange or return, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Help! I can’t find my return slip.
Don’t worry—APA packages don’t include return slips. Just reach out to info@apa-intemporal.com and we’ll help you request a return or exchange.
What’s your return policy?
If you have received a product but want to change the size and/or color, or arrange a return for refund, you can place a request within 14 days of delivery
We do ask that products show no signs of use, with their label and packaging intact and be in the original condition they were received in (a test run at home is perfectly fine).
You’ll be refunded in full to your original form of payment. If you received any promotional or other discounts when you paid, any refund will only reflect the amount you were charged.
Return shipments are free of charge within the E.U when using our pre-printed return labels. Please contact our customer service to receive a label.
Please note that we cover the first return or exchange per order (one prepaid label per order). Any additional returns/exchanges for the same order are customer-paid.
If you are located outside the E.U., the customer will assume all costs associated with returning the product to APA Intemporal and re-shipping.
How long does it take to process a return?
Credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

How are APA raincoats different from other rainwear brands?
Our raincoat is a reflection of our vision to combine the striking design, subtle attitudes and impeccable details of high fashion with today’s most innovative performance technologies and fabrics.
On the design side, our raincoats are built with top quality materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail that you will find in high-end designer brands to create an elegant look for an urban lifestyle.
APA is the first to use “smart” technologies for city wear, featuring some of today’s best performing fabrics. Our nano-tech water repellency ensures you’ll stay dry in heavy rain, while water simply rolls off the fabric like water on a leaf. Our smart c-change membrane adapts the coat’s breathability to your body temperature, so you’ll always feel “just right” in any weather. In fact, our coats have the same waterproofing and breathability ratings and durable construction as leading brands in the extreme sports industry.
Overall, our coats are the result of years of testing and customer feedback. They are designed to make you look great while keeping you protected in every kind of weather!
What makes APA sustainable?
We are proud to report that all of our materials are produced, and 100% of the production process is executed, within Europe. We are working exclusively with family-owned factories and suppliers in France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland that are considered artisan manufacturers: they provide the highest standards of working conditions and are experts in their fields.
Our suppliers adhere to Oeko-Tex®-approved manufacturing, and our hardware is nickel-free (anti-allergenic): this means our products are free from any harmful chemicals and ecologically safe. You can learn more about it at: Oeko-Tex

What are the care instructions for the APA raincoat?
There are a few different ways to clean your APA raincoat:
To reactivate the coat’s water repellency effect, you will need to iron it once every 6 to 12 months, depending upon your frequency of use.
The coat will remain 100% waterproof regardless of ironing.
You have a few options for cleaning it:
Machine wash:
- warm / up to 30 degrees
- gentle/delicate cycle
- hang dry
- absolutely no fabric softeners or dryers.
- once dry, iron coat using medium heat
Dry clean:

Are you using AI?
Our products are thoughtfully designed and developed by the dedicated ĀPA team—crafted with human expertise and creativity.
Regarding our website, we occasionally utilize AI tools to assist with images. Some are a blend of original photography and AI-generated models. Rest assured, the actual product fits, details, and craftsmanship are entirely genuine and untouched. The AI is only used to create realistic human identities, not the products themselves.
Is ĀPA a Belgian or German company?
After many years rooted in Brussels, ĀPA-Intemporal’s incredible journey has taken an exciting new direction—we are now proudly and fully Berlin-based.
Our story began in Belgium, where we participated in Brussels Fashion Week and opened our first store just a short distance from the European Parliament, serving our most loyal customers. During this time, we received several prestigious awards, including winning the First Prize at the Hub.Awards Hub.Brussels for Export of Goods (2019) and being a FashionTech FlandersDC Finalist (2020)
Following the challenges of COVID-19, we underwent a company restructuring and relocated our headquarters to Berlin-Mitte, following in the footsteps of our founder, Léa Stein.
