Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed after 1pm CET are processed the following business day. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your package ships.

All EU countries are included. First return or exchange per order: covered by APA.

Additional returns on the same order: customer-paid.

International orders (outside EU): shipping calculated at checkout. All return and re-shipping costs for international orders are the customer’s responsibility.

Will I be charged VAT and duties?We use express shipping. For our friends in Europe, shipping takes 1 to 4 business days. We’ll send a tracking number so you can watch your package’s journey.

International shipping times vary depending upon the destination country:

EU orders include VAT in the price. No duties. For orders outside the EU — including the UK, Switzerland, and Norway — local duties and VAT may be charged by customs. These are at the customer’s expense. Questions: info@apa-intemporal.com.

Your tracking number is sent by email once the order ships. In rare cases, the carrier takes extra time to register the shipment. If your tracking number is not active after several days, contact info@apa-intemporal.com.

APA is primarily online. We occasionally open pop-up stores in European cities. Current locations and opening times are listed here.

APA coats use French sizing. Men’s cuts run slim — for size M and above, we recommend sizing up one. Women’s cuts are standard fit. If the fit isn’t right, exchanges are easy (see return policy below). Size charts are available on every product page and here:

Every APA waterproof trench coat is covered by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If a coat fails due to a manufacturing defect — even after years of use — we will repair or replace it at no charge. Normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper care are not covered, but can be repaired at our atelier for a nominal fee. Don’t worry—APA packages don’t include return slips. Just reach out to info@apa-intemporal.com and we’ll help you request a return or exchange.

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or exchange. The coat must be unworn, with labels and packaging intact (trying it on at home is fine). You will be refunded in full to your original payment method. First return or exchange per order is free within the EU — we provide a prepaid label. Additional returns on the same order are customer-paid. International returns: all costs are the customer’s responsibility.

APA is the first brand to combine Swiss Schoeller® Nanosphere® waterproof fabric and C_Change® thermo-adaptive breathability with a silhouette designed in the European fashion tradition. The Nanosphere® nanostructure repels water, oil, dirt, and stains permanently — it does not wash out or wear off. The C_Change® membrane physically opens and closes with your body temperature, so you never overheat indoors. NOSO® taped seams seal every stitch. The result is a technical trench coat that performs like alpine sportswear and looks like it belongs in a boardroom.

100% European supply chain. Family-owned factories in France, Poland, Germany, and Switzerland. OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics. Nickel-free, hypoallergenic hardware. Zero chemical DWR coatings. Surplus Schoeller® fabric is sent to Dzaino in Berlin and handmade into waterproof travel pouches — nothing is discarded. Every metre of fabric we purchase is accounted for in a finished product.

To maintain the Nanosphere® water-repellency, iron the outer shell on medium heat once every 6–12 months depending on use. The coat remains fully waterproof regardless — ironing reactivates the bead-off effect.

Machine wash: 30°C max, delicate cycle, no spin, sensitive detergent only, no fabric softener, hang dry. Once dry, iron the outer shell on medium heat.

We strongly recommend dry cleaning. The inner viscose lining is sensitive to standard detergents.

Dry clean: gentle cycle with HCS. Always check the care label before washing.

Our coats are designed and developed entirely by the APA team. On the website, we occasionally use AI to generate model imagery. The products, fits, details, and craftsmanship shown are entirely real and unaltered. AI is used for human figures only — never for the product itself.

APA was founded in Brussels by Léa Stein and is now fully based in Berlin. The story started in Belgium — Brussels Fashion Week, a store near the European Parliament, the Hub.Brussels Export Award (2019), FashionTech FlandersDC Finalist (2020). Following a post-COVID restructuring, the company relocated to Berlin-Mitte. The European supply chain — Switzerland, Germany, France, Poland — remains unchanged.
