Most waterproof coats use DWR — a chemical coating that works for about 18 months, then wears away with washing. Reapply. Repeat.
Schoeller® Nanosphere® is waterproof at the fibre level. The nanostructure of each thread replicates a lotus leaf — water beads and rolls before it can penetrate. No coating. No degradation. Machine wash it 200 times and it performs exactly the same.
That’s why we don’t offer a waterproofing spray. You won’t need one.
